Yep, that pretty much sums up month eight. Poor baby had two ear infections and was teething her bottom teeth right at her 8 month mark.
Could. Not. Get. A. Smile.
Two things that are guaranteed to perk her up is music and having a toy in each hand. This was really the first time we discovered she could hold the mallets correctly and make contact with the xylophone. She was so happy to hear that she could make sounds and is now obsessed with carrying wooden sticks around. It's a little weird, but really cute. Our little music maker.
Happy with her sticks. Until she discovered she had a sticker on her shirt.
She made quite the effort to get that sticker. Sneaky little thing. Think this was probably the last month we'll get to use the stickers!
Tried again later and finally got a keeper! I present, her only useable 8 month picture.
Then she got tired and we called it a day.
Month eight was a tough month, but we made it through. She's been a trooper and has two cute little bottom teeth to show for it!
