This Past Month...

It's been quite a busy last month.  We've been on a couples trip to Napa, a flight to San Antonio, a wedding in the Texas Hill Country, Easter at my folks place, work trip to Houston, a wedding weekend here in Shreveport, and our Goddaughter's birthday in Dallas.  Whew.  Here's a few pics of all the fun.

Our first stop every time we fly to San Antonio is my Meemaw and Grandpa's house.  I love it over there and I know Olivia will grow up with fond memories of their home and garden as well. 

Olivia and I both had the honor of standing next to my best friend (and Olivia's Godmother) as she married her new husband.  It was an incredibly heart felt, intentional ceremony and an absolutely beautiful reception.  

 

The next day, we attended Olivia's first Easter Mass and then celebrated Easter Sunday with my mom's whole family out at the Rock Pile.  I love our big family celebrations!

After Easter, we drove to Houston and stayed with my Grandma.  Olivia couldn't have been more comfortable on her lap. 

When we got back home, Olivia was super excited about her Easter basket.  A bunch of empty plastic eggs.  I'm quickly learning the simpler, the better as far as baby toys go. 

The next weekend we attended another fun wedding and ended the festivities with a crawfish boil at our house.  Nothing better than good weather, good friends, and hot crawfish.

Finally, last weekend we were in Dallas to celebrate a whole list of little ones.  We met our friend Katie's newborn, celebrated little Liv's first birthday, and celebrated our Goddaughter and her twin sister's second birthday.  Olivia does really well around other babies and enjoyed watching all the older kiddos run around and play.

So much fun packed into a short period of time.  Needless to say, we're looking forward to a few weekends at home to rest and recharge!
