Nap time has been a bit of an ordeal around here lately. Ever since Boo figured out she can pull herself up in her crib, she's been having fun pulling her letters off the wall, throwing her toys over the side, and generally standing up, shaking the rails, and screaming for an hour at a time. It's adorable.
Once she's had enough fun with that game, she'll let go of the rail and eventually pass out in the seated position. Breaks my heart, but after several weeks we've decided super-uncomfortable sleep is better than no sleep.
Her current napping spot is in the pack 'n play in our guest room closet, nestled up next to my wedding dress and gift wrap. So far it's working - it's dark, she can't climb up the mesh, and it doesn't have rails for Nala to lick her through.
It's takes a bit of ingenuity, a very calm voice, and some insane patience, but once she's down, she's out. What a beautiful, beautiful sight.
